Eassy on Quaid- e- Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah With Quotations (My History Hero , My Favourite Hero)

EASSY :
 Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah

“You must stand guard over the development and maintenance of democracy, social justice, and the equality of manhood in your native soil. With faith, discipline, and selfless devotion to duty, there is nothing worthwhile that you cannot achieve.”
Very few individuals significantly alter the course of history. Fewer still modify the map of the world. Hardly anyone can be credited with creating a nation-state. Muhammad Ali Jinnah did all three. He was one of recent history’s most charismatic leaders. Jinnah virtually conjured history looms like a lofty minaret over the achievements of all his contemporaries in the Muslim League. It was the Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah who is the founder of our dear motherland, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. He is regarded as our liberator.
                                   Being the history reader,
                                   I found a leader,
                                   Who with his vision,
                                   Took the decision,
                                  To demand a homeland,
                                  For the Muslim,s band
                                  At last he won it,
                                 Where we stand and sit

M.A. Jinnah saw the light of day in Karachi on 25th December 1876 in the noble family of a rich businessman, Poonja Jinnah. He received his early education at Karachi Mission School. At the age of 26, after passing the matriculation examination, he went to England and studied law and took his Barrister’s degree from Lincoln’s Inn. In 1896. He came back and started practicing as a lawyer, first in Karachi and then in Bombay. Despite a strong Hindu majority In that profession, he rose to a very high position by dint of his strenuous and meticulous work.
“You will have to make up for the smallness of your size by your courage and selfless devotion to duty, for it is not the life that matters, but the courage, fortitude, and determination you bring to it.”
Mr. Jinnah was born great, and to rule the hearts of the Indian Muslims. He started his political career as a member of the Bombay legislature. Then he joined the Indian National Congress. He was a great champion of freedom for the people of India. When he realized that the congress was a neo-Hindu body and stood for Ram Raj, he resigned and joined the All India Muslim League in 1913. He had been the greatest spokesman of the Indian Muslims for a separate state for them.
“We are starting in the days where there is no discrimination, no distinction between one community and another, no discrimination between one caste or creed and another. We are starting with this fundamental principle: that we are all citizens, and equal citizens, of one State.”( Quaid-e-Azam)”
By 1930 he became an undisputed leader of the Muslims. Soon he began to reorganize the Indian Muslim League all over India. People gave him the title of Quaid-e-Azam for his selfless services to the Muslim cause, of freedom. He was an intellectual vizard and soon overshadowed the great congresses Gandhi, Jawahar Lal Nehru. Quaid was a man of principles and fought undauntedly single-handedly against the British and the Indian Congress. He was a great statesman, a seasoned parliamentarian, and a champion and democracy.
“I know there are people who do not quite agree with the division of India and the partition of the Punjab and Bengal. Much has been said against it, but now that it has been accepted, it is the duty of every one of us to loyally abide by it and honorably act according to the agreement which is now final and binding on all.”(Quaid-e-Azam)
On 23rd March 1940, a Pakistan resolution was passed in Lahore. All the Muslims took an active part in the freedom movement under the able guidance of respectable Quaid-e-Azam and at last succeded in their mission. The British had to accept this demand and Pakistan came into being on 14th August 1947.
“We are now all Pakistanis, not Balochis, Pathans, Sindhis, Bengalis, Punjabis and so on and as Pakistanis we must feel, behave and act, and we should be proud to be known as Pakistanis and nothing else.”
Mr. Jinnah’s integrity of character was beyond reproach. Gandhi called him ‘An impossible man’, for he would never compromise on principles. He stood like a rock against his opponents. He untied the defeated groups of Muslims into a force to reckon with. Quaid-e-Azam worked day and night to strengthen the Muslim league and, for finding the largest Muslim country in the world. It was due to his untiring efforts and wise leadership that Pakistan came into being. Had there been no Jinnah, there would not have been Pakistan. Mr. Jinnah was highly intelligent, highly disciplined, hardworking supremely, self-confident, driven by the dream, and drove others. He was the first Governor-General of Pakistan.
“It is in our hands to put the government in power or remove the Government from power, but you must not do it by mob methods. You have the power; you must learn the art to use it; you must try and understand the machinery. Constitutionally, it is in your hands to upset one Government and put another Government in power if you are dissatisfied to such an extent.”
Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah took the rein of this new born state as the Governer-Genral of Pakistan. He paid no heed   to hid doctor’s advice and did not care even for his failing health. His health was breaking down under the heavy pressure of work. He died at 10:20 pm on September 11, 1948 at Ziarat in Quetta and was buried the next day in Karachi, where a domed monument of pink marble now stands, housing the remains of one of the history’s most remarkable, tenacious, enigmatic figures. Pakistan is a living monument of his greatness and his service. May Allah his soul in peace. (Amin)

“We must work our destiny in our own way and present to the world an economic system based on true Islamic concept of equality of manhood and social justice. We will thereby be fulfilling our mission as Muslims and giving to humanity the message of peace which alone can save it and secure the welfare, happiness and prosperity of mankind.”
